Surprise, surprise, women still make less than men. Of course, we are making some headway, but I think we should be aware of the realities. Today is Equal Pay Day; we use this day to raise awareness of the pay disparity between men and women. It falls on a Tuesday because that is how long it takes for women to make what a man makes in a week.
Today also happens to be the day a new study on the wage gap was released...some highlights:
Largest wage gap: Wyoming
Narrowest gap: District of Columbia (suck it!)
Largest college educated wage gap: Nevada
