Violence Against Girls on the Way to School

CNN.com has this article, "Two schoolgirls blinded in acid attack in Afghanistan."  Of course the men who did this got away, and at least two of the girls are blinded.  Women were prohibited from attending school under the Taliban regime, but after they were removed from power women began attending school.  Obviously, educating women was not well received.  This is a very unfortunate story.
