Poor Stevens, even in Alaska they know you're an asshole

Ted Stevens has lost his seat in the Senate...wow Alaskans voted him out of office.  And it only took him being a convicted felon.  Ken Layne, the author of before mentioned piece, points out that at 85 years old Stevens is signaling the end of "white man America."  Stevens came to power when things around were changing...silly people, like women and minorities wanting rights, and he did what was expected: he sent money back home.  It is one hell of a tragedy after all not only has the Dems taken another seat, but God closed the window on the possibility of Senator Sarah Palin.
