A woman in St. Louis discovered that she was topless in a "Girls Gone Wild" Video without her knowledge or consent. She sued "Girls Gone Wild," but never fear the jury found that she deserves it. The evening in question the woman went to a bar dancing for a "Girls Gone Wild" cameraman; she repeated refused to remove her shirt or flash anyone. However, another party goer pulled her shirt down, which was caught on tape by the previously mentioned cameraman. Without her knowledge or consent this image was put in a video, that came back to haunt her six years later. The jury foreman explained the decision, "Through her actions, she gave implied consent. She was really playing to the camera. She knew what she was doing." You have to love the she had it coming defense despite refusing consent.
So you're saying to yourself, well of course: free enterprise can't be bothered with consent. Lucky she was over age...makes you wonder if "Girls Gone Wild" did this to anyone underage.
